SSD Lane Change Quick Reference Work Around. ©

Some SSD users find that with multiple cars and Lane Change sections that either a performance degredation or a Overload Error is experienced.

One of the reasons for this is due to the amount of available current each Lane Change section requires even when a Lane Change is not physically operating. Adding to this when the Lane Change button is depressed and thereby activated by a passing car the current demand on the available power is dramatically increased.

Firstly we always recommend fitting an extra SSD Power Supply into the system as one of your first upgrades.

We have found that a simple fix is to power the lane change track sections seperately with a quality 12 VDC power supply.
